Hiking the San Francisco Bay Area

The same ranger who extracted Craig has his truck parked on the trail, apparently to transport the patient to the road on the last stretch of the trail. On the road at the trailhead there is a fleet of emergency vehicles: 2 fire trucks, an ambulance and 4 ranger trucks. I still have to walk more than a half mile along the road to my car. The temperature gauge was at 100F. 12.68 miles, 3124ft elevation 4:58h moving time 8:21h elapsed time 0.3l water left, Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve, Los Gatos, California, September 05, 2020, 16:56
